When she performed in the 6th season on 7th Heaven, Jessica left. The movie Ulee's Gold and her outstanding performance in it as teenager Casey Jackson brought instant fame to her. This movie won her the prize for best Supporting Female Actress. Summer Catch, a comedy movie that she starred in, is proof of her ability as an actor. Even with her amazing performance Rules of Attraction was not an immediate success. The public was then drawn to her performance on The Texas Chainshaw Massacre. Also, she's appeared in suspenseful films and proven herself to be an actor.
