Sharon Yvonne Stone was born on March 10 of 1958 in Meadville, Pennsylvania, to accountant Dorothy Lawson and tool and die maker also a former worker at a factory Joseph William Stone II. Michael, Kelly and Patrick are her three siblings. Stone was considered to be an academically talented child when she began in the second grade at age five. Stone graduated from Saegertown High School located in Saegertown, Pennsylvania, in 1975. The Miss Pennsylvania beauty competition saw her take home Miss Crawford County. Stone relocated to New Jersey in 1977 with her aunt, to explore a career as models. In less than a month she signed up with Ford Modeling Agency. After one year of modeling between Milan and Paris and then moving to Europe. Stone was unhappy with the fashion industry in Europe, and chose to concentrate on acting. Stone was in Woody Allen's film "Stardust Memories" when he was twenty. The film received diverse reactions.
